Have you ever googled “robotics”? If you have, I bet you hit one of these three thing Jargon, jargon, jargon. Ooh, a super cool video of a robot doing a back flip! Tell me more…click on link… jargon, jargon, jargon. “Robots are going to extinguish humanity.” Eeek. Close the tab, too depressing. This is my foray into learning about robotics, but in a robots-for-idiots style. I’m writing it for people like me: curious and a little confused about why folding laundry is apparently rocket science for robots. To be super clear: I have literally no idea what the answers are. But come with me on this machine-learning journey (pun intended).
